Green = confirmed unchanged. Red = this value could NOT be confirmed unchanged — check it carefully.
Subject
Polished version (clean read)
My Signature
Each personal address you have access to keeps its own signature. Business/shared addresses always use the business template.
Personal addresses are a perk — you're not required to use the store's format. Staff addresses should generally stay on the business template.
Your account isn't marked as a personal account, so it's locked to the business template. Ask an admin to enable this on the Mailbox Access tab if this should change.
Combined with the store's signature template and whatever promo is currently scheduled, and added automatically to every message you send.
Replies once per sender while this is on, so people aren't spammed. Checks for new mail every few minutes, even if you're not logged in.

Message Display
Choose whether images in HTML emails load automatically, or stay hidden behind a "Show Images" button until you're ready to see them. Applies on both desktop and mobile.
Opens to: Date (newest first)
Sorting a folder while you're looking for something is temporary -- it only changes what you're looking at right now. To change what Bandstand Mail opens to every time, set the sort you want (using the column headers or the Sort panel), then come back here and tap the button below.
Themes & Appearance
Pick a look for Bandstand Mail. Takes effect immediately. This is your desktop theme -- mobile has its own separate theme, set from the mobile app.
Standard Grey
The classic look
Bright White
Sharp & high-contrast
Night Mode
Midnight blue, easy on the eyes
Jazzy
Black & white, a jazzier font
Enchanted Gold
Warm & rich, storybook gold
THE Mouse
Black, red & yellow, playful and fun
Don't see one you like? Answer a few quick questions and Greg will hear about it.
Request a Custom Theme
A few quick questions to help Greg build a theme that actually matches what you have in mind. Answer as many as you'd like.
Request a Feature
Have an idea for a customization or new feature? Describe it below. We accept requests for just your own account, or ones that might be worth adding for everyone — Greg makes the final call either way.
If you pick someone, they'll get a heads-up pop-up once this is built — just like you will.
Web Site Updates
Spotted something on the website that needs an idea, a fix, or an update? Let Greg know here instead of a note on the desk — he gets a notification and it lands in his review queue.
New Template
What you'll see when browsing the Templates list -- doesn't get sent anywhere, just for telling templates apart.
The actual subject line used when this template is opened to start a new message. Leave blank to fill it in fresh each time instead.
Everyone gets their own copy in their Templates folder, tagged "[Team]" so it's easy to tell apart from their own. Admin only.
Advanced Search
Searches every folder in every account you can see -- live and archived -- at once.

Images are embedded directly in the signature -- keep them small (under 40KB, e.g. a logo or badge), not full photos.
Past, Present & Future
Skip the login screen on a specific computer for a specific staff member (2026-07-30) — for when you're standing at their desk. You're already logged in here as yourself; pick who this computer belongs to and click Authorize. That browser will silently sign in as them from then on, with no password prompt, until you revoke it below. Nothing is emailed anywhere — this only affects the browser you're using right now, and only takes effect once you log out of your own session here.
Currently Trusted Computers
Set up an out-of-office auto-reply on a staff member's own mailbox, or any shared mailbox they've been granted access to (2026-07-31) — useful for someone on a long leave who isn't going to log in and set this up themselves. Pick who, check which of their accounts should reply, then type one message that applies to all of them. An optional end date turns it back off automatically; past vacation periods are kept in the history below.

One-time cutover tool (#806): Doteasy's mail server marks a message \Seen the moment any POP3 client downloads it, even if nobody has actually opened it. Once POP3 clients are shut off, use this to clear the unread indicator's false state across every account's Inbox, so it's trustworthy going forward. Sent/Archive/Junk aren't touched -- POP3 never sees those.

Customization and feature requests staff have submitted from inside Bandstand Mail (2026-08-03). Approve for just the person who asked, approve for everyone, or deny — approving builds a ready-to-paste prompt for your own Claude chat, the same one the Pushover link would have given you.

▶Archived
Ideas, fixes, and updates staff have flagged for the website (2026-08-08). Click a column header to sort; Attributed To, Type, Urgency, Status, and Notes are editable right in the table — changes save automatically. Marking something Done or Won't Do notifies whoever it's currently attributed to, then moves it into the Archive below. Use the paperclip to add more files to an item. The robot button (2026-08-09, one-click since 2026-08-10) copies a full task prompt to your clipboard, flips the item to In Progress, and opens the Bandstand Modernization Project — just paste into a new chat there.
Define the colours you use to mark messages, and what each one means. The order below is both the order they appear in when picking a colour, and the order they sort in when you click the rainbow column header.
